During the 4 years of the LEX4BIO project, partners with research institute / university background are committed to the organisation of annual NDFs (National Dissemination Fora). Participants in NDF represents ministries of agriculture and environment, advisory services, farmers union and representatives from industry and NGOs (e.g. fertiliser industries, research institutes, nutrient platforms, universities, associations of organic farmers), securing large scale dissemination to all relevant stakeholders and establishing strong communication channels for dialogue and mutual inspiration.
Between June 2019 and February 2020, 10 NDFs have already been planned in Austria, Finland, Germany, Denmark, Switzerland, Spain, Hungary, Poland, Belgium and The Netherlands.
NDFs organized in Germany and in Austria have already resulted in very interesting feedbacks and comments for the project implementation and cross-cooperation with diverse complementary projects. The results of the NDFs will be published in February 2020, through a Policy Roadmap proposed by Luke, to be published on the LEX4BIO website.
The first National Dissemination Forum has been organised in Germany on November 15th, 2019.
After round of introduction, the project Lex4Bio was introduced with specific description of WP1, WP2 and WP5. After each presentation, questions were addressed to the experts, which were discussed.
In addition, in line with LEX4BIO synergy strategy, the Nutri2Cycle project has been presented.
The Nutri2Cycle project will assess the current Nitrogen (N), Phosphorus (P) and Carbon (C) flows looking into existing management techniques in different farms across Europe and analysing their related environmental problems.
It was agreed that there will be a number of synergies that shall be further explored between JKI and Thuenen Institute.
